BSC Bosham Reach Talk Series - Wednesday21st February 2024 in the Clubhouse

The popular Bosham Reach talks return to BSC.

On Wednesday21st February Richard Worsley, a Community Presenter from the Selsey RNLI Life Boat Station will talk on the history of the Selsey Lifeboat Station since 1861. This will cover the vast development of the station itself as well as the increasingly sophisticated lifeboats, which have progressed from heavy 10 oared open boats, to a 13m All Weather Shannon Class lifeboat which is launched off the beach and powered by water jets, the most advanced in the Institution.
